Hi, i´ve the WB Infinity USB Phoenix.

In Woroscan i´m getting always the following message when trying to read out
a sim:

Phoenix device selected COM port is not available...
Communication problem... closing COM port...
Phoenix device selected COM port is not available...
Communication problem... closing COM port...
Can't select 3F00 file

What i´m doing wrong?

I´ve tried all com-ports.

Please help!!!

Have you installed the Infinity USB software and enable virtual com port in the program and then let it run in the background, while you use Woron Scan?

There are already threads about this. You'll have to go to Infinity USB Unlimited Software... Go to Tools - Virtual Port Mode - And select the com you want and the frequency 5379000.
Then the program minimizes itself. And you should be fine now.

I´ve installed the software(Latest version 1.60)
I have an WB Infinity USB Phoenix not the Infinity.
Can not find anything like Virtual Port Mode in my software.

Update the software to the latest version

Here is the text from the WB homepage:

Infinity USB Phoenix
"Complete install (v1.60 build 1529)

So, i´ve the latest version!!!
What can I do? Do I have the wrong reader/writer?

What if I don't have the VP mode highlighted so i cant select it!

I have an Infinity USB Phoenix as well and, for what it's worth, no matter how hard I tried, I could not get Woronscan to work with it (and indeed you have no VP mode).

On the other hand, SimScan 2.01 works fine and carries out the same functions as WoronScan (notably extracting Ki).

I suggest you try SimScan. You can download it from:
