Can woronscan "see" a usb sim card editor?

Guys,i've gathered everything to make the famous so-called sim cloning,but i have a problem while running woronscan at the first step.It seems like worronscan cannot "see" my usb sim card reader.Which com port do i have to select?Knowing a few things about computers,i think that com ports are ports used only by devices with a serial jack..That means i have to find a serial usb reader?Plz answer as soon as possible...

yo. you need to use some software, which probally came with your reader, to put it in pheonix mode.

it needs to be connected with both Serial and USB.

My usb reader doesn't have a serial jack.How the hell can i do it?plz someone!!!

unfortunately you can't use it in Woron unless the usb sim reader is PC/SC compatible. Try the PC/SC option and see if it works. If not, you need a serial sim reader or a usb-serial sim reader.

I'm waiting for a Infinity USB UNLIMITED, but my computer doesn't have serial connection...

try sim_scan, cardinal, etc. but i think they need serial connection.

Also try magicsim software here http://www.magicsim.com/files/MAGICSIM.exe it might work.

btw, when you plug in the usb reader, does it ask for driver? is it a usb-serial driver? also, could you please go to please check your device manager (windows) and see what com ports are there.

iMags: don't be upset so soon, for usb-serial i mean the programmer has a usb-serial convertor to enable the reader works with a "virtual" com port even the conenction to the computer is a usb one. there is nothing about both usb and serial.

Infinity USB unlimited works so don't worry :)

It seems i'm pretty much f*ckd up here..And it took me so freakin long to gather all these things together..

actually if you're not familiar it's a little bit tricky.

To use woron scan with infinity you have to:
install the infinity usb unlimited sw that come with it.
run it
select --> "Instruments" --> "Virtual COM Port (VCP) Mode" from the top menu
From the PORT pull down menu pick one (i used 2)
Click on Update
the program will be minimized at the bottom right of the windows task bar

Now run woron scan
from the Card Reader pull down menu verify that "Phoenix Card" is checked and then click on Settings (same menu at the bottom)
Select the SAME com port number you selected in Infinity and possibly the same speed and frequency :D
You should now be able to run the IMSI, ICC and KI search



Additional note for dummies like me:

After you modified the data as per Sassha, Vladi and Ozbimmer super sim save the files with a new name (so you have a backup) and close woron scan.

Open your card programming sw, select the files you just saved and write the super sim. If you are using infinity DON'T cut the sim because the programming is done ONLY in the larger slot, so if you cut it you have to put everything togheter with some tape in order to be able to program it
