You forgot the part where you write the firmware....

Anyway, it's much easier to just add i.unlock.no in Installer sources, and install Baseband downgrader. It's done fully automatic, no need to transfer files/use SSH commands. Works on 1.1.3 baseband.

Wow, I wish it were that easy as mentioned above. I only am able to get to this:

Hook my iphone to itunes

place phone in restore mode

shift click restore to version 1.0.2

it then quickly attempts to restore, then ends in an error code..

I cannot even get it to restore to 1.0.2

Any ideas why?

I purchased my phone with v1.1.2, successfully downgraded to v1.1.1, jailbroke that, then restored with 1.1.2, jailbroke that THEN STUPIDLY USED ITUNES TO UPGRADE TO V1.1.3, now I'm stuck like chuck!

HELP!!!!

You are stuck waiting for 1.1.4 with your new iPod Touch (at least for now)

@GeeZuZz: I agree the method you put in the installer is way easier.

@visions: It is for those people that have BL 3.9!! And upgraded to 1.1.3 using iTunes which means their baseband got upgraded to. For those that only used one of the two soft upgrades to 1.1.3 is an easier way because they dont have to fix their baseband.

@mfleigle: If you updated to 1.1.3 with iTunes then going to 1.1.1 and jailbreaking is not enough to get your phone functions back. You probably did the soft upgrade and then went back to 1.1.1 or you have BL4.6 where you cantget your phone functions to work anyway.

@ugshotgun and Streayliight: Yes you are stuck at 1.1.3 and have to wait until 1.1.4 comes out.
