Anyone know what it means or how to get around it? I can't get this DVD to start up without running into a kernel panic citing APIC.
Thanks!

So, I figured out how to get into my BIOS or EFI or whatever Toshiba uses (hold ESC). I found someone else with a Toshiba who suggested turning everything on the lowest possible setting in the BIOS and was able to install the DVD. I installed the osx86 group main file (but not the AMD) and one entitled SSE3 only. The Darwin bootloader comes up and shows me my 3 partitions. If I choose Mac, it loads through about 2000 files. The last ones are something like System.kext and something about Maxxuss. Then it turns black for 15 seconds. Then it gets blacker. The the Toshiba screen comes on.
I'm gonna try Disc Utility from the DVD and see about getting a new kernel. Any tips?
Thanks,
