Future App?

I'm no programmer...so all I can offer are ideas.
But I've seen an NES emulator, a screen printer, and a terminal created for the iphone. EVEN tetris....please....PLEASE.....make a DJ application? something akin to traktor??

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude, and in some way, I'm sure a similar application (with a lot fewer controls, that stuff just won't all fit) could be fit to the iPhone. The question is, who will be willing to create the application, mostly because I doubt there will be many people interested in this kind of functionality in a mobile device. Perhaps you should more clearly explain what features you would invision for such an application and why it would be worth the time for someone to develop it.

not at all! you werent rude. I just realize that it's a kinda far fetched idea.
but i could see myself djing from the iphone! i'd just need a cross fader on the screen...and maybe a digital scratch pad, equalizer. those would be the main things i'd need

That would be a lot of fun. I also DJ.... and sometimes in my car i wish i had knobs and cross faders, to mess with. or even live looping abilities :)

that would be a lot of fun to have on an iphone though.

I dont think it's ridiculous at all. If you could port traktor..
With real iphone skills you could be able to zoom in real fast on a perticular area, play with a filter, then zoom out again. in the same way you use safari on the iphone
