Green 2 card instead of Silver Card?

I have had a terrible time finding a Silver Card online and am curious if a Green 2 Card, like the one listed here ( http://www.cellular-cables.com/catalog.php?tree_id=189 ) might be used instead?

My understanding is that the only difference between the two is the Green 2 card has a larger EEPROM than the Silver Card.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Has the iphone version of simemu been confirmed to work on the greencard or greencard2?

I have tried silver(F877 64)/green(F877 128)/green2(F877 256) cards, they are all working fine.
