Additionnal drivers for a fully working MB
Ethnert Marvell Yukon : use this (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=15700&hl=marvell+yukon)
Sound :
I previously install 10.4.6 goatsecx and my sound card was fully working without doing anything. Then I need to reinstall Mac OSX and used JaS 10.4.6. With that release i was able to hear sound only on the left channel.
Solved with this (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=15555&st=0)
Use the second attached driver (3rd page), this one worked for me without any difficulties.
USB : prefer using 10.4.3 kext (IOUSBFamily) only this one worked for me
Just in case, if someone is having issues to make work these components, I could have saved a lot of time if I knew that (especially concerning the sound card)

Did you guys boot from a DVD or a vmware install then ran natively. If you boot from a dvd which iso did you use?
I'm running into problem installing osx86 from a cd. It always reports an error during the installation. after the initial base system installs, then its suppose to go into the essential install. but at that point i get the error.
I found that if i use vmware and install i can go through with the install perfect and also boot from my hard drive natively.
After the VMWare install i still run into some problems.
1.) I cannot install any packages. When i run a package it always seem to freeze. So I'm stuck and cant install any packages. Is there a fix for this?
2.)Also when i boot natively, I cannot reboot. It just hangs.

Hi!
It seems you dont have the right dvd.
Normally no probs.
I dont think the vmware solution is good.
It should be a native installation with no errors for best results.
Try to find/get the 10.4.3 AMD DVD...
Or maybe a hardware problem... (Bios, defective RAM, overclocking, etc.pp. ...)
Rgds.

10.4.6 is easily available and should be fine (the JaS one).
