Hi,

is it possible to build a folder on Springboard ? (eg "Games")
If you have more than 16 icons the 17th icon won't be displayed :(

Thanks,

It has been suggested that a "Folder" application should be created. You would click on it and it would either show a list of contents much like NESApp, or perhaps another Springboard like display.

I would personally prefer a "More..." button that loaded another springboard. But for now, a folder listing would be nice.

Well a usable, if not glamorous, solution is to use the Terminal app to launch your other apps. That being said, are there even 4 apps out yet? ;)

i put 5 new apps on: terminal, tetris, zune, vrecord, and nesapp

only 4 show up, it doesnt scroll or otherwise indicate that there are 17 apps. i'm not sure yet how it chooses which 4 to display either (name, date dont appear to be it)

Thanks to the great work of every development team. The answer is yes now:)

Well if apple releases 4 or more apps (in addition to the current apps), then I could see some type of finger gestures to navigate the springboard such as using two fingers to move up or down (as shown in one of their more recent patents (though the patent describes what certain two finger gestures could represent I know they could make app specific gestures)).

Yeah! A good idea. A "Games"-folder would be nice. :)
