ok i think it is because i need to change the file permissions to 0755 but i dont know how. winscp doesnt work for me. can i download gpsphone somewhere where the permissions have been already changed?

download terminal on your phone... and type
chmod 755 /Applications/gpSphone.app/gpSphone
(i havent got this app so i am assuming it is called "gpSphone" if it isnt then change that bit to what it is called)
hope this helps
did u put gba_bios.bin in into the gpSPhone directory? just that worked for me.

As MadB said, it won't work unless you add a gba_bios.bin file to your gpsPhone folder. And off course you have to chance the permission of this file: "gpsPhone" inside the gpsPhone app folder. Set it to 755. Once you get that done, it'll work like charm (not really, the emulator is still a little dodgy, but I'm sure they're working on it.)

what do you mean winscp doesnt work? did you try both pw dottie/alpine?...and how did you even get the bios in w/o winscp? if winscp doesnt work for you, im not even sure you can put the gba games to even play w/.....so, you need winscp to work to even play gba games
im pretty positive im right, if not, someone correct me :)
hope it helps

That's right, you wont be able to put ROMS on your iPhone without a working SSH program. I'm a Mac user so I can't help you with Winscp, I use Cyberduck on Mac.
