My iPhone now has a standby time of about 48hrs (thats a huge drop from the 250hrs spec).
I had the bug where incoming calls and sms didn't work while in locked/standby mode, so I (re)moved the '/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/PowerManagement.bundle/com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist' which solved the no incoming sms/calls problem but instead gave me this 48hrs standby time.
Restoring the com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist file also restores the incoming sms/call bug. So I figure there has to be something wrong in my file (I looked in the log files and there are no errors reported).
My com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist (http://tatari.se/com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist) file.
I would appreciate if someone with a working 1.1.2 OOTB US phone could post their power profile file so I could compare it with mine.

Data Roaming - Off

remove openssh. SSH looks actively for connections to the computer and therefore uses battery life... The same way wifi uses battery life when kept on. That should solve your problem

Well I don't have SSH running I used the Services app to disable it. (It doesn't accept connections)

WTF are you talking about? SSH server keeps self in memory doing NOTHING until it receives a request on TCP port 22. Even if you can argue "if it is in memory, it is doing something", it is just using as same power as whatever other application in standby.

I had a customer from Canada who observed the same no calls while in sleep mode, he returned the Iphone, I was prepared to the worse, I insert a Suncom then a T mobile card and put it in sleep mode, called 15 times in a row,, Iphone was responsive every time, my conclusion: there was a glitch, a bug, an incompatibility with his provider; so pls try another sim from another Provider.

The no call issue exist even if I use the included At&t sim, when the phone resumes from locked/standby it looks like it got a signal then it switches to no signal then displays no-service and after a while back to signal (when com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist exists). If the power profile is removed the signal is strong even when resuming from locked/standby.
Looks like it cuts the power to the sim when using the power profile.

Hi Guys,

I'm new here. I'm from Beirut and the same thing happened with my iPhone on 1.0.2 & 1.1.1 & 1.1.2 versions. I fixed this with iMapldle, but after upgrading to 1.1.3 with iTunes and using ZiPhone tool it was completely gone! :)
