Is there any way for me to able to make it so when a phone number that is not in my address book calls me, I can tell the number, name, address etc, of the person whos calling, just like a home caller id?

dunno... is there a webservice for this?
plus, i think it might only work on wifi, and would be pretty slow.... (it needs to start the wifi connection, then poll the webservice, then display info, all after the first ring)... (Edge wont work while a call is on/coming through)
I think that a DB of phone numbers and addresses locally on the iphone would be feasible but pretty big (also dunno if you can get local phonebook in digital text only format?)

My old Sony Ericsson did this. Everytime someone called it would show the name, even if it wasn't on my address book and it was a home or cell number. At least a name is better than nothing. :D
