Actually my problem is reader writer i am using i hav a simple serial COM1 interface which comes with SUPERSIM thats why not working coz i hav sold my IUU otherwise i hav no problems:)

Step 2 - Getting IMSI from AT&T SIM card which came with an iPhone

1. Put your AT&T SIM card in programer
2. Click on "Tasks" then on "IMSI select" u will get a IMSI number, write it down.
3. Close Woronscan
4. Remove SIM from programer

I did a full restore and with that it upgraded to 1.0.2. I had the iPhone since 2 weeks after release.

Yes, each iphone comes with AT&T simcard.
No, you don't need activated AT&T simcard.

V1 sim is not so hard to find, they are not Europe specific. Try local GSM dealers or shops from providers. Possible that they have one somewhere.

You can not activate sim cards from another country in the US or the other way around.

If i put SuperSim in another phone (nokia 6320i) I can RECEIVE SMS. But I have a problem with receiving SMS on iPhone.

Make sure itunes and itunes helper is quit. then try again. if not succesfull, restore and start over.
BTW, why use iphonetool with supersim method. Use iActivator! No issue with that.

i was able to get IMSI and ICC.

but for the ki, i waited for about 2 hours and it didnt find it.
it was saying: Starting 2R attack on 0 pair....

and then it tried with Starting 2R attack on 4 pair....

and not found.

Please help to find a mistake... Restored 5-6 times and tried again, still cannot solve the issue.

step 14 - ok. I uploaded iPhoneActivation.pem, chahged to programmed silvercard sim.
step 15 - ok.
step16 - failed. After running an EXE file generated from https://ookoo.org/iphone/iasign.php - there is a message "Waiting for AT&T activation. This may take some time". And this never ending with success - then comes up "Activation Alert - No signal detected. Signal is required to complete activation."
I've tried 2 different Sims (MTS & Beeline) - the same result.

there is a point - should iTunes be up&running when starting activator from Takkun? (when iTunes is up - activation message is the same as in tutorial, when iTunes is closed - there is a DISMISS shown) Tried both ways - the same failure.

What could be done wrong? please help. Thanks!!!

no my sim has no picture at all. i've been on t-mobile for a while. i think i found out that the current sim was activated in 2002. it's a v1 but it has the gold part on one side and on the blank side just a set of 4 numbers

I am very clear on the supersim Windows unlock process, but not so clear on the Mac. Wronscan is for windows, what is the mac equivalent? iActivator? Creating a supersim using a mac can be easy if you also have access to a PC

Create the supersim using the method described at the begining of this thread. However you will need to use a PC to do this as I am not aware of any drivers and software for USB Card Writers like the Infinity Unlimited.

However for activation forget about all these outdated steps and use Independence on the mac for one click activation.

(Also used it this morning for very easy installing and running the software unlock)

You can activate before or after you create your supersim it does not matter.

No need to get upset! And yes, your correct, it's PC. There are no programs on the mac that can do what is required. So you need a pc, am sure someone you know will lend you a hand.

i have been using my tmobile supersim now for a month with no issues. i recently tried to install the books app and somehome in the installation the phone now see that i'm completely out of space. it actually issn'r recognizing the 6 gigs of music and video and see them as other. the only way i fear to correct this is to restore. since my phone has always been on the 1.0.2 firmware, if i use the option selection method people are talking about in the restore process and choose the 1.0.2 firmware i have can i still do a restore on my phone without any problems with activation and supersim recognition? simply, can i still do a restore since i never went to the 1.1.1 software? has anyone had to do it?

Guys, I might need some help.

Recieved today a 1.1.1 iPhone and followed this tutorial. No problems retrieving IMSI, ICC and KI codes from my T-Mobile sim (with Woronscan).

But then, after inserting the AT&T card, as provided with the iPhone, Woronscan uddenly can't find the IMSI code:

After reinserting the T-Mobile sim, the IMSI is easily found... so the sim reader should work.

But the AT&T problem remains. Is this because this is a fairly new AT&T sim card? Any other options? Can I use an other IMSI? Please help...

sounds great. since 4.6 bootloader is not cracked yet.. i ordered a cheap sim max to check if my sim is really V1. if thats the case i will have to get a silvercard. since sim max cards do not seem to work in iphones. ;) or at least no tutorial for them yet. :) otherwise. expensive turbosim as the last alternative :)

supersim is working also for upgraded 1.1.2 iPhone (i.e. like 1.0.2-never unlocked- to 1.1.2) ?

took the plunge as I have 2 4.6 BL phones an a dozen more friends in latin america where i live with the same so I got 12 silver cards and infinity unlimited coming. my question is are there any mac OS X programs like the two listed for windows in your guide? if not will have to go to parallels I guess. anyone done this on a mac with other programs for the card reader/write or parallels please let me know.

google is your friend try search the name of your mobile operator or try to extract the ki like explained on the first page of this post!

I already have the IMSI, ICC and Ki of my SIM card. I also have a SIM Master (http://ucables.com/ref/SIM-MASTER) which I used to extract those codes. I think I'll be able to get the IMSI of the O2 sim (I'm planning to buy an UK iPhone) with these device and SIM-BACKUP software.

Do I need anything else? Can I input all those codes directly on the SIM-EMU menu on a regular phone instead of using "Sim-Emu 6.01 Configurator v2.1"?

try using a phoenix programmer or a smart mouse programmer both serial!!

no, you can't use an old sim or anything else to create a super sim,
they are not writable the way a silvercard is!
you need a silver (16F876/7 + 24C64) or green card (16F876/7 + 24C128) or green card 2 (16F876/7 + 24C256)!

i believe there's no problem with 6.00 or 6.01, try, at least update to 6.01!

follow these instructions!

1. Download & extract - http://www.rapid_share.com/files/474..._iphone_u1.rar(Remove dash "-")
1.a Put your Silvercard in programer
2. Run Sim-Emu 6.01 Configurator v2.1
3. Click on Configure tab
4. Click "Read from disk" button
5. Browse to your downloaded Flash&EEPROM files, first double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1.HEX and then double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1_EP.HEX, now they are loaded,positions 0 and 9 are red colored,thats fine.

6. In position 0 , type in data which u got from your carrier SIM with Woronscan - IMSI,Ki & ICCID!
For ADN/SMS/FDN# type 161, 15, 4, for SMS Centre type in your carrier SMS center number.

7. Now select position "9", here type IMSI from O2 card (thgat came with your new iPhone) ,and PIN1 ,PUK1 same like in position "0" ,NOTHING ELSE!
8. In "Config mode" check "Files" circle check button
9. Click on "Write to disk" button,u'll be asked to save new created SuperSim Flash&Eeprom files,Save it!
10. Write those NEW created Flash&Eeprom files on Silvercard with your programer software!

Lets say I had a brother working in a local mobile telephone company, and he would be willing to give me the brand new SIM Cards along with the KI numbers, would this be all that I need to be able to clone SIM cards and sell my iphones away?

I have an Infinity USB Phoenix programmer, serially connected on a COM port.
Unfortunately it is NOT working for me.

Infinity USB Phoenix software, unlike in the Unlimited model, does not have the VCP mode. This is probably why I can easily read IMSI and ICCID, but I keep on getting the "Communication problem... closing COM port..." error message every few minutes while brute forcing Ki. :mad:

Anyone managed to extract Ki with Infinity USB Phoenix?

FYI, I am setting the Phoenix mode clock at 3.58MHz and port speed at 9600 baud and my SIM is definitely V1.

Any advice appreciated.

I tried the SIM Editor application within CAS Studio (using the Duolabs CAS 3 USB reader/writer).

CAS Studio extracts the correct ICC and IMSI from the SIM and then a field called Key KC, which is made of 18 exadecimal digits (9 bytes).

Would it be the same as Ki?

Funny it took CAS Studio less than a second to retrieve the info from my SIM (very old V1), including the mysterious Key KC. Makes me think it is probably not Ki, but what would it be then? :confused:

Any thoughts anyone?

For those of you with a serially connected Infinity USB Phoenix reader (Phoenix, not Unlimited), you may know by now that Woron Scan does not run to completion when extracting Ki.

I could not try it with a serial to USB converter, but with an RS-232 connection I tried all possible (reasonable) combinations of clock frequency and communication speed on Phoenix mode and Woron Scan: it just won't work. In the best case I keep getting a communication error every few minutes. In the worst cases every few seconds.

The great news is Sim Scan V. 2.01 works great with a serially connected Infinity USB Phoenix. :)

I set the Phoenix mode clock at 6 MHz on the reader, chose the 16457bps - 6.12 MHz combination on Sim Scan and started the attack.

30,000 or so flawless cycles later my V1 SIM's Ki was no longer a mystery. :D

Now I only need to buy a Silvercard and turn my black shiny paperweight into a real iPhone. :cool:

I finally got my new OTB 1.1.2 (week 47) iPhone up and running with my new SuperSim thanks to this guide.

However, I would like to add that I lost two nights of sleep trying to figure what I did wrong in the first place.

I finally realized that I needed to upgrade to 1.1.2 after downgrading to 1.1.1.

The SuperSIM/iPhone activation would not work with 1.1.1 firmware
However it worked just fine after re-upgrading to 1.1.2.

It would be helpful to others if this fact is stated in the guide.

You CAN NOT buy some AT&T SIM and used for this method, it HAS TO BE one that come with iPhone! Because, iPhone is "loaded" with data from SIM that come with it...and if data in SuperSim is different u CAN NOT fool the iPhone to think it is conneted on AT&T network! STUCK AT - Writing to SIM. Which is the programmer software. Where do I download it from?

It usually comes for free with the writer.

I have an Infinity USB Phoenix and a CAS 3 and they both come with SW allowing you to write to various types of smartcards, including SilverCards and GreenCards.

(You CAN NOT buy some AT&T SIM and used for this method, it HAS TO BE one that come with iPhone! Because iPhone is "loaded" with data from SIM that came with it...and if data in "created SuperSim" is different u CAN NOT fool the iPhone to think it is connected on AT&T network! (thats what happens with this method)


Correction: it doesn't have to be the exact sim that came with your particular iphone. it can be any at&t sim from any iphone sold.

this has nothing to do with the at&t card used.
maybe he has 1.1.1 without the patched lockdownd or maybe you didn't wait long enough for the card to start working. sometimes you have to restart the phone after inserting the supersim for it to start working

I did a little test making a supersim with a tmobile prepaid card with someone else his imsi number and this works! on my phone.

So now i an use the prepaid supersim one or my own subcription supersim.

Question is can I now sell the tmobile prepaid supersim without getting the person who's imsi I used into trouble?

Meantime, I still have a lot of reading to do and would appreciate tips on getting this right as I don't wanna mess things up too badly. I also have contacted my Telco to inform them of my actions and the reasons to why I am doing this. They are being very friendly and helpful. I will be entering their office with the silvercards once they have arrived. Hopefully next week. I informed them of my situation with my phone and they have agreed to aid me as much as possible without breaking any laws nor corporate rules and regulations.
Some of you may face the same treatment from your SP's, whilst some of you may get rejections and threats should you try to explain to your Telco of your actions and reasons.

I just wanted to mention that the SilverSIM I purchased to do my SuperSIM tutorial was great since it didn't require cutting of the card. You just had to pop it out of the full size card. It cost 10Euros but definately worth it. They are out of stock till the 25th but thats only 5 more days.

If your carrier SIM card is not V1 this method will NOT work, because U CAN'T get Ki number from chip! Bassicly V1 SIM cards are at least 7 years "old" SIMs. U CAN'T know for sure if your SIM is V1 ,V2 or V3 before u try to extract Ki with WORONSCAN software(download below). If Woronscan can't extract Ki number, your SIM IS NOT V1, and U CAN NOT proceed!

1. an iPhone with AT&T(or O2) card which came with it!
(You CAN NOT buy some AT&T SIM and used for this method, it HAS TO BE one that come with iPhone! 5. Download :

1. ::Getting IMSI,ICCID & Ki number from your SIMs::

Step 1 - Your(V1)SIM

1. Put your carrier SIM card in programer
2. Run Woronscan
3. Click on "Tasks" tab then on "IMSI select" u will get a IMSI number, write it down.
4. Click on "Task" tab then on "ICC select" u will get a ICCID number, write it down.
5. Click on "Tasks" tab then on "Ki search", in pop-up window just click "Search", and wait,Ki extraction has began.(I was waiting for mine 40 min:eek: ) When u get it, write it down.

Step 2 - Getting IMSI from AT&T SIM card which came with an iPhone

1. Put your AT&T SIM card in programer
2. Click on "Tasks" then on "IMSI select" u will get a IMSI number, write it down.
3. Close Woronscan
4. Remove SIM from programer

Now U have all "data" to make SuperSim.


2. ::Making SuperSim:::D

1. Download & extract - http://www.rapid_share.com/files/47494428/SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1.rar(Remove dash "-")
1.a Put your Silvercard in programer
2. Run Sim-Emu 6.01 Configurator v2.1
3. Click on Configure tab
4. Click "Read from disk" button
5. Browse to your downloaded Flash&EEPROM files, first double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1.HEX and then double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1_EP.HEX, now they are loaded,positions 0 and 9 are red colored,thats fine.

6. In position 0 , type in data which u got from your carrier SIM with Woronscan - IMSI,Ki & ICCID!
For ADN/SMS/FDN# type 161, 15, 4, for SMS Centre type in your carrier SMS center number. Type in
some numbers for PIN1 and PUK1, remember it.

7. Now select position "9", here type IMSI from AT&T SIM card ,and PIN1 ,PUK1 number same like in position "0" ,NOTHING ELSE!

8. In "Config mode" tick "Files" circle button.

9. Click on "Write to disk" button,u'll be asked to save new created SuperSim Flash&Eeprom files,Save it!

10. Write those NEW created Flash&Eeprom files on Silvercard with your programer software!

12. Put your SuperSIM in iPhone and connect it with USB to PC


3. ::Making your iPhone work with SuperSim::

1. Jailbreak & Activate your iPhone (search the forum for "How To" for your iPhone version)

1.a) If after Jailbreak and Activation your iPhone still dont accept SuperSim proceed with 2.

2. Download - http://rapid_share.com/files/74205465/SuperSim.rar ,unrar folder from inside to Desktop

3. Go to - https://ookoo.org/iphone/iasign.php ,under Activator v0.2 type in DEVICE ID, IMEI ,ICCID. Click "Generate"

If u're on WIN click on "download a custom activator v0.2" to download *.exe , now move it to SuperSim folder.

If u're on MAC click on download your generated activation record to download *.plist file TO DESKTOP. (after download RENAME IT TO a.plist !!!!!!)


:: Activation ::

WINDOWS

While your iPhone is still connected to PC double click iphoneinterface.exe in SuperSim folder,now type one command at the time:

cd /System/Library/Lockdown/

putfile /System/Library/Lockdown/iPhoneActivation.pem

exit

Now double click that long digit exe file u downloaded in step 3. to activate your iPhone with SuperSim!



MAC

1.)Copy iPhoneActivation.pem from SuperSim folder to /System/Library/Lockdown/ ,with your favorite tool

2.) Download the following file to your Mac.

3.) Extract it to a directory on your desktop named iPhoneTool , AND COPY YOUR DOWNLOADED a.plist file OVER that one already inside!

4.) Open the program “Terminal” location in HardDrive/Applications/Utilities

5.) Type the following command into the flashing cursor:

cd ~/Desktop/iPhoneTool

6.) Now make sure your iPhone is connected and you quit iTunes

7.) To activate your iPhone type the following command into the flashing cursor
(note that there are two dashes before activate):

./tool --activate a.plist


Note: If U are using 1.1.2 U NEED iWorld application to make SMS and phone work, u can find it in Installer-->Tweaks(1.1.2). Install it, run it, select your country, reboot iPhone if it doesnt automaticly.

The card provided is Greencard. I think that Greencard should not be a problem as it has the same processor as the silvercard but a little more memory.

The software that I have received with it is: SIM Scanner 10. It only allows to write DAT files.

SimEmu says - Not a SimEmu card so I cant write with SimEmu.

Also downloaded the Programmer software from Infinity USB Unlimited site but does not detect card reader. Same with CardMaster 2.1

Please HELP...

1. If jailbreak is relesed we can use this method without any programing again. If we get patched lockdownd it would be just "plug&play", if we only get jailbreak then we must do a "Manual activation"

2. When U put any SIM in any phone it communicate with operator and phone few times(that is happening in few sec). In this case those two files flash and eeprom are programmed to "send" first 3 times AT&T IMEI and then send "your SIMs" IMEI last two times(not sure if its 2 or 3 times,i forgot), and then phone is tricked. Nothing is written to phone i think. I cant explain better,sorry.:o

Guys I've been having a problem obtaining the KI number from my SIM.

I know many will say I probably have a v2/v3 sim, but what i don't understand is why Woroscan simply accepted it normally and tried up to 65.000 passes returning me with only 00s. Wouldn't Woroscan give me an error before even starting if i dind't have a v1 card with the "breakable" protection?

I tried a couple more times, reaching over 30.000 passes but not finding a single pair. In any case my Sim did not lock or "burn" as some said it would happen with a v2 card. And I was able to get the IMSI and ICCID easily.

Could another sim software have a better result than woroscan? Could my simple USB Sim Reader be the problem with the KI decryption process?

Can anyone help me please?

woronscan accepts v2/v3 sims. there is no problem in trying to read them, it is just that you don't actually read anything
concerning the 30000 passes, I once read a card @50000 passes, but that was only once.

I just wanted to tell you that as I show the sh script running and performing the jailbreak the actual part of the phone updated is just the OS. The modem firmware of the phone remains to 4.02.13_G of the 1.1.2. So this is the reason that SuperSim works.

I read that some people who updated the iphone with the traditional apple method (who actually updated their modem firmware to the new version), and then went back and jailbreaked (which in my opinion is the best method to apply the jailbreak as you have both modem firmware and OS updated), cannot use SuperSim.

SO I think that there is a need to create a new code for the new firmware to work.

Copy patched AppSupport file in some safe place. I dont now how but I didnt have to install iWorld. I had 1.1.2+SuperSim(iWorld), then I soft-upgraded to 1.1.3., then i fucked up my Iphone trying to get all apps icon to sprinboard, so then i downgraded to 1.1.1 and downgraded baseband, to have "clean 1.1.1", then i updated with Oktoprep to 1.1.2(SMS&phone crashing), DID NOT install iWorld ,then soft-upgraded to 1.1.3 and SMS and phone work now!:cool:

use a JDM to write the pic then put the card into a smartmouse/phoenix and run sim emu configurator it should say sim-emu 6.01 detected on the upper part of the dialog window.
from the sim emu conf you can flash the eeprom and live with your supersim :)
3rd
use a real serial port for programmers
not a fake usb-serial they sucks

I don't see how this helps to find a workaround for new baseband.
And sorry to disappoint you, but I've made 100s of iPhone multisims with usb programmer + it's stock software + sim emu, and had no problems ever.

The 3G model is not cracked to the SIM unlocking part. Also I read that there is some turbo sim solutions that could work with the 3G. As we have the equipment could we use these to create a newer version of the hack for the 3G?

Is there a software that we can manipulate the parameters that the SIM does and try to fix this ourselves or needs extreme programming skills?
