For those who have said "EDGE is not working", have you tried editing the .plist file where the GPRS / EDGE APN is defined?
If the APN is not adjusted (Stevie boy doesnt want to expose a UI for it, control freak mentality I supposed), then the device cannot "attach to the AT&T APN" since there is no "wap.cingular.com" (I think that's what AT&T uses) in the operator's network you are trying this on.
Try changing that file (I hope it is not signed) and see what happens :)

If this works, it would be a good idea for a 3rd party APN writer application to be developed so that people can easily change their net connection parameters.

you can use BT, Irda, USB, driver only has to emulate COM. Once you have COM you can use it.

about safety, does your network notice anything wrong? iccid sent will be att or mine?

next, i've read your post and code, i've also checked the iphone thread on the bladox site and have seen that there is an update to your code as well as for the kernel for turbo sim.

what steps should i follow, i've already ordered 2 turbo sims,
when they arrive is there anything that must be read from the att card? iccid maybe? or how does your code once on the turbo sim read the necesary info needed from the att sim?

this is somewhat advanced for me, i'm trying to keep up with all you geniuses guys but sometimes its hard to.

once i recieve my cards, how do i update the kernel?

i understand that i have to use a phone to upload the code to the turbo sim, can a bluetooth enabled phone do the job? like a treo or a sony ericson?

you won't get the KI number from Mobistar or Proximus SIM cards since they aren't V1 SIM. I've been able to get the KI from a Base prepaid card in 60 seconds.
I've tried with 3 Mobistar SIM and 3 Proximus card with no luck.

Finally!! After 6 hours solving a stupid problem with SIM-EMU and Infinity I found an easier way.
Write the Flash and EPPROM files in SIM-EMU in disk mode and save them with your details.
Next, open Infinity USB Unlimited software with your silvercard in. After successful Silvercard detection select the Flash file you just saved in the PIC select file and the EPPROM.

Then instead of following that guide, I did everything really fast with iActivator on a mac...

I think I have to clarify this: I use SIM-EMU as an editor of files on disk ie. to read from disk - a generic flash and eeprom file, and then modify those files and write back to disk. I never use SIM-EMU to read/write files to card as I find it's not that easy to configurate as compare to Infinity USB unlimited software. So editing your flash and eeprom files use SIM-EMU, read and write you silvercard use Infinity usb unlimited software.

Use iActivator if youre on a Mac... real easy... all you need to do is:

Deactivate the iPhone... Then activate it with iActivator and when asked for imei and iccid use the iphone's emai (obviously) and your carrier's ICCID... and it's done

Could you try editing the .plist file that has the connection profiles and change the APN to your operators? I would be very interested in seeing if that fixes the "No EDGE" problem.
I dont have the DMG images, so I forgot which file; but it should be something like connection profile or connection settings.

Those steps were written for the Windows Version, if you are using a MAC then the steps are slightly different. As someone mentioned here, you might want to use Iactivator ,much easier...

im using Infinity USB unlim + woron scan 1.09

i inserted the Sim Card
did a IMSI and got the IMSI
did a ICC and got the ICC
did a KI - had it running the whole day and got nothing.

am i doing anything wrong ? if it was a V2/V3 it would have not worked with the IMSI and ICC correct? it would have not done a KI scan to start with correct?
is there another software out there that would be a better choice ? anyone used dif settings on woron scan ?

Got all the components ready and now a real NEWBY question...

I can see my V1 card with my infinity USB card reader but

WoronScan says "PS/SC Smart Card Error 00000006, Can't select 3F00 file"

I think this is Woronscan not seeing my reader - and you have PC SC Card, Phoenix or A38 simulator as options.

Ok guys, if anyone can help me on this i would really appreciate it.
I have used all Woron scan, SimEasy, MagicSim to crack my Ki...all of the software can get me the Ki, all same result, however, when I click verify Ki on SimEasy, or Check Pairs on Woron scan, I get pairing error, or mismatch outcome..
when i use this Ki on my clone sim, i get "sim not allowed" on my phone.. which leads me to believe that my cracked Ki is wrong..

Is there a chance that woron and other Ki cracking software giving out wrong results? maye this only occurs if you have V2 cards?? (i dont know which version simcard i have)

can anyone help?

Got all the components ready and now a real NEWBY question...

I can see my V1 card with my infinity USB card reader but

WoronScan says "PS/SC Smart Card Error 00000006, Can't select 3F00 file"

I think this is Woronscan not seeing my reader - and you have PC SC Card, Phoenix or A38 simulator as options.

Can't see the Infinity USB under settings in PC/SC card mode and under Phoenix its expecting to find it on a COM port!

You do not have to use iAsign to get your phone going just use iActivator 1.1.4
It will do the same trick as iAsign

Escuse me for my bad English!

working on my iPhone i have uncovered an important thing! I never read about this on web or on a tutorial, peraphs other hackers have discovered it...i don't know......now i explain what i do:
I learn (on your site) how to unlock, install ssh, and i use sasha tutorial on hackintosh (http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2215).....and iPhone work perfectly whit "TIM" carrier. OK, nothing report!
Now i have create one more sim working on iPhone. (it's equal to first sim which iPhone had been unlocked)....the tutorial of sasha is fondamental to unlock iPhone.....now when you have finished and iPhone is unlocked, you have to repeat this step:

1.a Put your Silvercard in programer
2. Run Sim-Emu 6.01 Configurator v2.1
3. Click on Configure tab
4. Click "Read from disk" button
5. Browse to your downloaded Flash&EEPROM files, first double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1.HEX and then double click on SIM_EMU_6.01_iphone_u1_EP.HEX, now they are loaded,positions 0 and 9 are red colored,thats fine.

6. In position 0 , type in data which u got from your carrier SIM with Woronscan - IMSI,Ki & ICCID!
For ADN/SMS/FDN# type 161, 15, 4, for SMS Centre type in your carrier SMS center number.

7. Now select position "9", here type IMSI from AT&T SIM card ,and PIN1 ,PUK1 same like in position "0" ,NOTHING ELSE!
8. In "Config mode" check "Files" circle check button
9. Click on "Write to disk" button,u'll be asked to save new created SuperSim Flash&Eeprom files,Save it!
10. Write those NEW created Flash&Eeprom files on Silvercard with your programer software!

What I had change?
- I use a greencard2. (whit 256kb)
- In step6 in position 9 i not only insert THE IMSI of MY AT&T BUT THE ICCID OF MY AT&T (read whith woronscan!!)...if you do that your new sim work on iPhone like the previous sim.
I think that during activation iPhone write on position9 of old sim the new ICCID of your AT&T, because reading my silvercard with woronscan after unlock iPhone, ICCID on position9 is change!

On iPhone you go on "settings" - "Phone" - "Sim Application" - "sel.Phone"....you'll see +Phone #0 and -Phone #9...with sim-emu 6.01 you can create a new sim where on position 2, 3 you can add two new card (ICCID, IMSI, KI), and receive call at the same time!! If you select +Phone #2 you call with second number (and receive call of people that call your tre numbers at the same time)....etc etc! You understand?
If there's an application (on main screen of iPhone) which i can select +iPhone #"X" i think is very nice!

Haven't purchased any of the equipment yet. Trying to find out if my old Globe SIM Sim is a V1 card. As of the moment customer service can't seem to answer that question. Its a 48K sim circa 2001. I'd like to be able to use my current line and not have to buy a prepaid card.

Hey guys,

I finally got my USB reader and tried it on my 7 year old pre-paid loop card today. However, I think I am doing something wrong with the Woron Scan.

When doing the KI search I get the following:

3R attack collision found ... found 512 steps
3R attack 0 possible pairs found
3R attack failed.

I get this after just a few seconds of scan and it always stops at GSM algorithm steps 512. Also, after the first run it did show me two pairs of numbers from my KI number. (The very first pair and the one in position 9)

Am I doing something wrong or does this already mean my card isn't V1 and I have to give up?

5. Click on "Tasks" tab then on "Ki search", in pop-up window just click "Search", and wait,Ki extraction has began.(I was waiting for mine 40 min ) When u get it, write it down.

Mmm that fucked my Original SIM card :mad: i have to wait 5 days to have another one, and it also doesn't find the Ki number :mad:

Maybe next time using Sim-Emu for finding Ki number will be better for my original SIM card :(

You get that error if you sim is NOT V1, I have 4 Sim, out of which 1 Sim gives me this error and that is v3 SIM.

that's not what that error means. ensure the correct port is selected, and try changing your port speed to 16540bps (something like that) in the woronscan menu.

There seems to be some difference regarding what to write in pos 0. The guide in this thread tells me to use my carriers info in pos 0 and nothing from AT&T.

following window will be shown. Note you are in position 0 (zero). Enter
your mobile carrier's IMSI (IMSI-a) and Ki. If you know your mobile

It seems to use AT&T iccid in pos 0 and pos 9. That is not good is it?

I search with woronscan for the KI code. But after 62088 steps the scan stops with the following message:confused:confused: :

Both pairs possibly non-collision...

The start pair button is on number 4.

I use Sim Max to extract KI, if it is NOT V1 Woronscan it give an error "Starting 2R attack on 0 pair....The GSM algorithm is not comp128-1 ...Scanning stoped...". so try to use SIMMAX reader which is available on the net for $5

Bhavs, How old is your Airtel Sim? if you have got it 2.5 year back then it is definity V1, But unfortunity newer sims are v2 & v3, best way to go about is to buy any 6in1 8in1 simmax available in most of the cities and would costs you INR350, use woronscan & you will get to know the version

I dont think it really matters if your iphone is already activated. Mine was already activated using the iactivator method on mac, I then proceeded to do a supersim, put it in the iphone and it works withour activating again. I have since then restored and activated my iphone a number of times and it always works.

Deactivate it using iPhoneinterface and then activate it with the new ICCID code from yur privider. Trust me hardly anything can go wrong. I had the same issue. If you can get an Ki code from your carrier sim you can use this method. Don''t worry if activation or anything failes. Just activate it again.

I had the same error on my Mac (intel). I was about to just use it as a super iPod...

I had to restore the iPhone to factory settings with iTunes a couple of times.

Then I followed the steps for windows under XP [on a windows grey and ugly PC] and the iPhone got activated first shot (in italy with TIM)

Before going thru the widows steps I restored the iPhone completely with iTunes (click and hold top and front buttons for 25 secs...)

Now:
calls in/out OK
SMS in/out OK
EDGE OK
Wi-Fi OK
YouTube OK (after some more hacks...)

It works great here in italy with TIM

I finally managed to get the Turbosim working with the newest iphone software, I used several threads..
I use Orange in Delft with an 8MB iPhone and Turbosim from Bladox (got it yesterday)

Both manuals work and i used both. I rather use ICCID of my own operator.
64K sim is most certainly not V1. (atleast so far as my knowledge reaches) V1 sims are almost always 8K. Call your operator or local GSM dealers, maybe they have few left and don't use. This is how i got mine, i had 32K and now have 8K that worked with woronscan.

Don't read to much in it.

Faked activation=not activated with AT&T mobile plan or gophone plan
Faked activation=Activated phone using Aisign, iActivator, phonetool, ...

If you have fake activation:
Best way is to deactivate your phone using the method you used to activate it. Or you can use the ICCID from the card you activated the phone with.
Then activate again with the proper ICCID and imei.

If you get an error, close and try again. For me, iActivator 1.0.4 worked best.

pqdvd is not jailbreak. So deactivate first and then use the method described in manual or ue a tool like mentioned above. Do not use pqdvd tool.

Hi, guys:

After spending a lot of time, I learn something about the sim cloning.
Maybe someone want to know kind of things. :)

1. When you got a Silver Card, it may empty within. So the SIM-EMU can't recognize it as an GSM sim card. The error message will be "No Card Inserted".

2. To solve this problem, you may need "IC-Prog" to write the loader(Flash) and the EEPROM into Silver Card.

3. This part you will need two hardware and two hex files. To write the loader(Flash) you need JDM writer. To write the EEPROM, you need the Phoenix Card writer.

These things confuse me a while. So if you guys need to know something else, and happened I know, I'm glad to share everything to you. :)

and when I calling i have to tap Speaker twice because i cannot hear the person that i call. After that it's ok. Incoming call works fine. EDGE not tested yet.
