Hello there,

I saved a post earlier today containing a link and instructions to a simple to use dvd to iphone software but it seems to have been deleted. I have searched google but cant seem to find it.
Could someone who saw this post tell me the name of this software please? I came back this evening to give it a try and 'tis gone, vanished, dead, extinct.

Thankyou,
Kall

hey dude,

I use handbrake, its free and will rip the dvd too. Some basic settings i recommend are:

2 pass
480width keep aspect
2pass
use the encoding filter that states iPod
ffmpeg I heard works, but I have not tested it though

Use Visualhub, it has it's own preset for iPhone and works perfect, it even imports the finished converted movies to iTunes for you if you feel lazy... :-)

It also has presets for almost any other video playing gadget on the marked, it
even rips DVD directly...

/PS! I have no connection to this firm what so ever...)

Handbrake is the easiest utility to use to put movies on your iPhone. It even can compress them nicely so there is room for movies, music, and so on.

I forgot to mention that you can set the video bit rate to 500 instead of the default 1200 or 1500. A 500 will give great results and keep the file small. Good luck!
