How about a posting blackade for the first week after registration?

Especially in the Iphone Forums, the outcome would be much less of the stupid "how du i unlock my 1.12 phone" or "When is software unlock coming?" topics, as people would be forced to read first before they post.

I know a lot of boards, especially hacking boards, that restricted their board this way and resulted in much less stupid newb questions.
