Thats my Youtube search app. It lets you choose your own video quality when on the phone so you can watch wifi high resolution vids on edge. Also on the computer you can download the high resolution videos that are higher quality than YouTube.com's flv's pre-encoded for your iphone/ipod touch

Well, you could make a program that does what your website does.

I was originally doing that in objc which would automatically add videos to the ipod section. The youtube app uses ssl on a random port in the 40k range to key auth keys. I couldn't replicate it in objc so I just made on in php using a python script to populate a mysql db with valid auth keys.

I think that the ability to bookmark videos that are found using it should be added.

I agree with Zero3K, a bookmark feature would be a useful addition, having said that I think the apps great. I can actually watch videos over a gprs connection in a reasonable time, something the youtube app wont even allow.

i agree with that.. and it should have a native counterpart so we can replace youtube.app with it :P

To install just extract the contents, and copy the folder to "Applications" via SSH and you are ready to go.

Yea great app, too bad its useless :( Closes down at random times for me, and when it does decide to work, 99 out of 100 movies wont finish downloading, it looks like they do, but when you play them they just stop playing half way through. :mad:

Yes.. same problem here. it never downloaded a full movie for me on high quality. On low quality, it did work once for me.

too bad you cant download video from other like break,dailymotion,digg,etc.. since they can be view on safari maybe you can open the option to get the video from youtube,break,dailymotion,digg and so on....
