Does the small phone sim fit in same hole on card reader as silvercard or do you have to tape it into one of the breakout cards you get a new sim in ?

Depends on the Programmer. The Infinity USB Ulimited has two slots, one for the Big Cards like the sliver card and a seperate small slot to insert your phone sim card.

I am trying to clone sim card. I am using Infinity USB and GreenCard2, unfortunatelly when i put the card in to the slot and start Sim_Emu i get information no card inserted? Does any one have same problem? Any idea what i'am doing wrong?

Make sure to have a USB serial port emulator installed (which you probably already do), then change the port to be read from in Sim Emu. It might be on COM 3 after that.

I have the Infinity USB Phoenix (not Unlimited) and there is no way I can select a com/serialport.

It is impossible to get the KI from a V2 or V3 card, only V1 works. V2 and V3 use a better encryption and the check algorithms for registering with the network operator are stored inside the EEPROM.

It's only possible to obtain the KI of a V1 sim card, and these are at least 5-6 years old...


What I was wondering, is the following :
A V2 or V3 sim card only has the KI encrypted, and not the IMSI and ICCID, right?? Can't we just chance the IMSI and ICCID on our own SIM card then, instead of cloning it??
