HELP!!! appsnap install

alright, so im trying to jailbreak my week 50 iphone. im using this guide: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=461.
i get to the part were i install appsnap, but when i click it, it just loads the page http://jailbreakme.com/files/y.tiff and its a white page with a little blue dot in the top left corner, so i dont know what i need to do to install appsnap. could somebody help me out

p.s. after i downgraded to firmware 1.1.1, i went into versions on my phone, and it still said version 1.1.2, should it say 1.1.1 after the downgrade, or should it stay 1.1.2

I had the same problem yesterday

this is what i did:

* downgrade the phone to 1.1.1
* hold your horses and go to http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com/ and then to http://jailbreakme.com, trust me it was the only way i got it to work, wait about a minute the phone will restart
* then make sure to install BSD Subsystem, and then OktoPrep
* then do the upgrade to 1.1.2, trust me you don't want to miss the BSD Subsystem, I had to go back to step one because i forgot to install it, if you don't, once you upgrade the phone to 1.1.2 and try to jailbreak it it will tell you that oktoPrep is not installed even thoug you did.
