I used this tutorial: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15849&page=32 to unlock my UK 02 iphone so i could use my PAYG sim.

1.1.1 jailbreak worked perfectly but as it is 1.1.1 it uses american keypad and also i dont get any signal on my PAYG sim... which ive been told is because i haven't got 1.1.2. So i updated and tried jailbreaking... all was well till i press "Jailbreak!" and i got the "Your iphone isn't connected to the computer" error which means i haven't got the latest jailbreak 1.1.2.

Does anybody know how to fix this/where i can find the latest jailbreak? I used the one given in that topic.

Thanks in advance.

If there's any newer version you should find here: http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/site/112jb.html

Make sure every step works and you see what is described as the result

Failed again, not a clue what im doing wrong. It all works fine up until i try and jailbreak it which is the very very last thing to do. Just don't understand why it isn't connecting to the iphone...

Edit: i just went onto versions using this:

1- Turn on your iphone, you will get "Slide for Emergency Call"
2- Slide and you will get the phone keypad
3- type *3001#12345#* and press CALL
3- Press on VERSIONS

and it says my firmware is 04.02.13_G

Does this mean anything?
