Settings keeps crashing on 1.1.2

I'm running an unlocked 1.1.2 iphone and yesterday I tried to make some changes to Settings-iPhone.plist (which is inside Preferences.app in Applications folder).
Now everytime I tap on Settings the application shows a blank page and immediately crashes, even after having placed back the original Preferences.app (therefore the original Settings-iPhone.plist) in the Applications folder.
Does anyone have an idea of what might be happening?

Check the Preferences binary's permission in Preferences.app (should be 755).
