FYI... Iphone 1.1.2 BL 4.6 OTB is fully working in Mexico (Telcel) using StealthSIM & iWorld.

NOTE: Use telcel SIM v3.5, other versions will not work!. :)

The new sim version (3.5) have the chip closer to one side of the SIM, in previous versions the chip is centered in the SIM, so it wont work....

If you have an older SIM just go to Telcel and request a newer one (about 10usd)... you must ask for the H4 V3.5... also consider that you will have to pay another 90usd for the stealthsim (www.iphonestealth.ca).

Well, my SIM says V3, but the chip is closer to one side. If you have dented corner on your upper right, the chip is on the left side.

I guess I'm on the safe side. I ordered mine a few days ago, going to pick it up tomorrow.

I AGREE. Stealth is not permanent nor a real unlock so this is useless. Turbosim works the same, there are no news in this thread.

BTW:
I posted in both spanish and english but its fine I agree and UNDERSTAND this is an international forum and we should use international language. Maybe its usefull for someone else, there are hundreds of countries, millions of people.

Its incredible how SOME (not all) mexicans can use a forum to throw shit one each other... So returning to the post, it has no future commenting in unlocking solutions and should be moved to Turbosim and other methods. And because of this and all the yelling im voting this thread to be moved.

The relevance of REAL unocking is not just to use the phone but to keep it the cheapest, easyest and leanest possible that can be reproduced hundreds of times. Something the iphone fiscally does not have to depend of.

I tried the stealthsim with my jailbroken iphone and my Telcel sim and didn't worked. I noticed that my sim is rather old (+3 years). Is it true the new v3 and v3.5 telcel sims work with stealtsim? Tomorrow I am going to Telcel to buy a new sim.

It worked!! I bought a new sim from Telcel (no question asked :) and installed it fresh from the envelope with the Stealthsim, at the 3rd try, voila!!, my iPhone is up & running!

I use Stealthsim with v3 h5 and didn't work but v3 h4 its working perfectly.
So Can you post what kind of version did you use.

I'm not sure what version of sim I'm using. I'm sure it says v3, but I don't remember if it is h4 or h5. What I remember is that the pattern of the chip is very similar to the one on the included sim.

I had some trouble with stealthsim (no sim message when the battery is at mid-charge) so I took it out and realigned it. I checked the version, is V3 h3.

I bought 2 and are working with my sims, one of those is 6 years old and doesn't display a version number, the other one is a V3.

The only thing is that it didn't work at the first attempt, I had to alight a little bit to the right the stealth sim in order to work, I think is only and alignment problem, the stealth sim should work for all of Telcel sims

I dont recomend to pay for jailbreak desblock iphone i have 1.1.2 OTB bought in usa working with turbosim, iWorld and carrier telcel with some problems in the beginin but i solved later jejeje also im finding for some secure mode to update mi iphone to 1.1.3 so if anyone know some secure mode to update please tells me cheers xD
