iWorld and using 1.1.2 iPhone in different countries

Here's the deal:

I need to be able to use an unlocked 1.1.2 iPhone in both the US and one (or more) of the countries that currently require iWorld to fix crashing up. I searched the forum, and the only thing I found is that unistalling iWorld keeps the changed settings — however, I need the original AT&T settings while in the US. Is there an easy way to do it?

I theory iWorld will not touch the US settings. It will override the French settings.
