That sucks, i was wondering why they didn't worked for me. :(
Any idea what it is checking? It may be just machine model or something maybe?

Did you try removing the various check files?

looks like them might have changed their minds about this. :)

Shapeshifter 2.4.b3 and the other unsanity apps that i've tried seem to be working now.

This issue came up on Apple's Cocoa-Dev list a little while ago. I think the consenous was that trying to detect Hackintoshs was Apple's problem:

Is Silk working for you? I am still getting "not compatible" warning in console.
