How to disable volume button

I have iPhone who survived many drops :)

Until the last drop - the ringer volume keeps on going down as if the volume button (left side) is continuously pressed.

I don't want to open this iPhone just to remove that volume button - is there any way we can do this using command or thru settings or hacks?

Please help.
