I want an iPhone but...

I want to get the iPhone for many reasons. One i just got the touch and realized i like it and for the same price i could have got the iPhone. I bought it at my Best Buy and because its the Christmas season i have until Jan 28th to return it. My question to you is Does anyone know a way you can get out of a Verizon Wireless 2 year contract without paying a cancellation fee?

just stay with your damn verizon and get a pre-paid plan with them.. or just get a pre-paid plan with at&t.. you will have to pay your fee if you dont want your plan anymore

Just get it. Once you get it, for everyday you didn't have you will have wished you did. Take the time to absorb some new tech while it is still new. The phone and how it integrates is one of the best things. Don't get me wrong though, its not a magical device and don't get me started on what I think about apple.

Do whatever you want to get it running, I would suggest hacking... just to PO you know who.

well verizon uses CDMA frequency and AT&T uses GSM frequency, so its an incompatible frequency therefore you cant use your iPhone with verizon, also verizon doesnt use a SIM card cuz its CDMA :)

call Vzon and tell them that ur leaving the country and going to a foreign country(like germany), and that there is no use for a Vzon phone in the rest of the tech world. according to FCC, they have to let u off the contract. You will not be able to keep the same number....but hey, iphone and T-mobile(usa) makes the best combo......Good luck;)
