Is it the Apple logo or the iTunes logo?
If it's the iTunes logo it's in recovery mode. Does iTunes say it's in recovery mode? If so, launch iNdepdendence and just sit there - indy will kick it out.
If it's the Apple logo, sounds like it's not booting.
Use a stopwatch!
1. Plug iPhone into your ocmputer.
2. Hold POWER and HOME buttons for EXACTLY 10 seconds.
3. When your watch gets to 10, release the POWER (TOP) button.
4. Keep holding the home button. If you did it right, iTunes will detect an iPhone in recovery mode but the screen will be black. This is DFU mode and you can use it to restore iPhone to any firmware you want. Restore to 1.1.1 (if you're an unlocker) and start fresh. (see many other threads)

Please help someone?
I don't think many ppl can, based on your description. Or better: the lack thereof.
If you want help, you better start providing as much relevant info as possible. Software version? Modem firmware version? iTunes version? Most importantly: What did you do to get there? Installed anything? Played around with anything?
With this one-liner you wrote it could be a million things. Maybe a permission problem?
