1. Preparing the exploit.
1.1 Slide to reach the emergency dial screen
1.2 Enter *#307# and then press call
1.3 Delete the #*307# and then press 0. After that press the call button you are seeing and it will show you the answer/decline buttons. Click answer.
1.4 Press hold now and your phone will start ringing again
1.5 Press Dismiss. Will go into the contacts/dial screen
1.6 Press contacts from the bottom bar and add a contact
1.7 Add a contact with a random name and Add two URLs as follows :-

1.8 Save it and click on the contact's FIRST homepage. This will take you straight into the setting menu of the iPhone, and you can setup the WFI network on iPhone.

2. Jailbreak
2.1 Click Home button.
2.2 Repeat steps 1.1 to 1.5.
2.3 Now click on the contact you added and click on the SECOND URL.
2.4 Scroll down and click on Install App.
2.5 iPhone’s lock screen will appear. Just wait and don’t do anything. Installer is being downloaded and installed.
2.6 iPhone will restart now automatically and you will be able to access the spring board.

3. Unlock
3.1 Click on installer.
3.2 Install ‘Community Sources’ if it’s not already installed.
3.3 Install anySIM.
3.4 Run anySIM and follow the steps.
3.5 It will say Unlocked successfully in the end.
3.6 Restart the phone.
3.7 Now you should be able to see the GSM provider’s name on left top corner.

Hi guys, Here i am not doing the steps for activating and youtube as given in http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12817&highlight=ultimate+guide

Would like to know if these are really necessary.??

Everything works perfectly fine for me without them.
I've strictly followed the steps i have given above with new iPhone with 1.1.1. and also with same iPhone after ugrading it to 1.1.2 and then restoring it to 1.1.1 fully including the baseband. (basically making it again new like with 1.1.1.)

i successfully activate n unlock 2 phones with this method,
but on my third phone after i succesfully jailbreak and install bsd subsystem, i ran anysim 1.1 but it doesnt succeed, i tried downloading and installing anysim1.1 again n again , and run it several times it still fail, now when i want to connect to my wifi network it also said no route to host, what should i do now ? should i restore using dfu mode ? should i virginize ? all 3 phones are o.t.b 1.1.1 week 44 iphone, any help would be appreciated . thank you

Hi pangtedja,
Yeah restoring it to 1.1.1 works perfectly fine. You will have new like phone. Just download 1.1.1 firmware and start iPhone in restore mode and shift + click restore on itunes restore button. select the file and wait. It shouldn't give any error. It should say iPhone succesfully factory restored. Now again follow the steps given above to unlock it. Worked perfectly for me. Hope it works for u as well.

i did all steps and went fine
but when i try run anysim its stuck and then comback to main menu
this iphone was at version 1.0.2 and its unlocked
and its locked and imei changed when i update to 1.1.1
so i'm trying to fix
plz help
