Problem, can you please help? locked out

Thanks for clicking on my posting.

Tried to do a search but could not find another posting with the answer.

I have a problem. I bought a brand new (virgin) 1.1.1 a few weeks ago, downgraded to 1.02 USING THE iBrickr method listed in:-

"restored thru iTunes using the SHIFT restore and clicking on 1.02 that was originally downloaded from Apple some time ago, used winstaller to jail break, used anysim 1.11 to unlock. used PACY to activate Youtube, installed lockdown"

Everything was working fine for a few weeks. I sold my iPhone to this guy, who apparrantly upgraded it yesterday and now he has locked himself out, it telles him tha sim is not recognized or authorizes or soemthing like that. I had told him not to upgrade! but his wide did when they were going to iTunes!!!

Don't worry, it's not the end of the world. Consider the accidental upgrade a first step in the upgrade and unlock process. Just follow the steps in

Read it thoroughly and you'll be fine.

But I have a 1.1.1 version which was downgraded using instructions in:-

Now this was upgraded to the latest from iTunes last night, now it says you sim is not useable with this phone??

I am confused??

Relax. I had a 1.1.1 unlocked in a similar way, and I upgraded and unlocked following the I recommended to you in my previous post. I'm on 1.1.2 now, unlocked and all is working.
