Are phones sold in the US still on the 1.1.1 firmware?

Anyone knows if the the phones in the shops sold in the US are still on firmware 1.1.1?

Would want to purchase a new one but would prefer one on the old 1.1.1 firmware since i have done unlock on it before.

Some are some are not.

Best way is to check the serial number and use the week number:-

serial numbers are:

XXX46XXXXXX

You need to find iphones with <= 44 (less than or equal to 44) as they come with older firmware.
