Hi can anyone help me unlock a new OTB 1.1.2 us iphone I have found a guide for uk phones and on mac I need a win guide.

I have serached the forum before posting silly questions and yes I found a tutorial on how to jailbreak and unlock 1.1.2 but only on mac. I need a win guide

If you have bootloader 4.xxx you will not be able to unlock a 1.1.2 phone. At least not yet. ;-)

Nope it says only for mac though there is a win approach which I havent tested, how do I know which version is the bootloader?

If you intend to run 3rd party apps on your US iPhone, do as that guide suggests. It works for any country.

And take note on the comments:

Q) My iPhone wont work with <insert name> simcard! Whats going on?!
A) If you can read, this guide does not tell you how to UNLOCK your iPhone. It allows you to jailbreak & pass activation. Therefore, a UK iPhone running 1.1.2 will only work on O2 simcards, a DE iPhone running 1.1.2 will only work on T-Mobile, and so on..

Q) Will this work on iPhones with bootloader version 4.06_M3S2?
A) This method does not tamper with the bootloader, therefore yes it does work. Remember folks, this guide does not allow you to unlock iPhones! Simply jailbreak 1.1.2 iPhones (both upgraded & OOB), and bypass the activation for 'em.

from an upgraded 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 and it worked but have never tried it on an OTB 1.1.2

@screege: The answer is NO UNLOCK. Read reply #6 again.
The problem is the new bootloader which is not supported by ieraser and bbupdater
