is it possible to use more than one SIM card with my iPhone? I unlocked my iPhone with my ATT sim card(real att) and now my T-Mobile sim doesn't work unless i revirginize, restore and unlock again... Whats the deal is there a way to swap SIM cards out like I can in 1.0.2?

If you unlocked with AnySim both sim cards should work. What did you do wrong?

Have you used the patched lockdownd file?

After running AnySim 1.1 you should be able to swap SIM cards without problem.

Things to remember:

1) Run AnySim 1.1 with your new SIM card in the iPhone (not AT&T SIM)
2) Make sure your SIM card does not have a passcode on it. If it does then put in another phone, disable it, then pop it back in the iPhone
3) Don't rush into manually patching a lockdown file. This should not be required if everything goes well with AnySim.

If yours is still not working I would recommend running OneSim to remove the AnySim installation. Restore your iPhone to 1.1.1. Jailbreak and activate using the *#307# method. Run AnySim 1.1. with your new SIM card installed.

Is that step really necessary? I have unlocked countless phones without ever removing the factory Sim until i am done. I have had no problems swapping in different Sim cards.

The ability to swap SIMs is not related to anySIM. anySIM provide means to use an operator other than those "official ones".

The iphone has another lock, that is performed by lockdownd, that ties a specific SIM card to the phone by means of a set of digital certificates. What the patched lockdownd does is to relax this requirement.

But, what people do not realize is that the most popular jailbreak/activation programs will perform activation by means of a patched lockdownd. This is acomplished by jailbreakme.com, iNdependence and CARNAVAL, among others.

So do not confuse the 3 "locks" in the iPhone

1) The filesystem write lock. Breaking this lock is called "jailbreaking" it all it does it provide write access to the executable area of the iPhone flash.

2) Activation: bypass activation, either with fake certificates (IASign) ou with a patched lockdown

3) Baseband (radio) unlock. This is what anySIM does

I am able to switch no issue between two using independence on OS X. Maybe try democracy if you do windows. Just have those programs 'activate' your phone and see if it resolves it.

use iNdependance (Mac), Jailbreakme (thru iPhone), Carnaval (Win) for activativating and jailbreak and that should be all to allow you to switch SIM cards AFTER you unlosck with AnySIM. Just see the post before yours it is very nicely explained.
