where stores itunes the ipsw files on a mac and where on a pc?

the file should be in this directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\itunes\iPhone Software Updates\

remember that you need to chance the "YOUR USER NAME" by the user name you use in windows.

if you cant find it there you can do a search in your hard disk, the file name for 1.1.1 is : iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw

For MAC I dont know

/Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
