would it be possible if someone has a US iphone unlocked to use in the UK on O2.

just flash it with an iphones firmware and modem baseband purchased in the UK then i could judt update like normal, ok i may be locked to O2 but that would be great for me as thats my operator...

would this be possble or not...

my phone was originally a v1.0.2 unlocked it the hardware way, then i virginized it back to its original state, upgraded to 1.1.1 then unlock it with anysim v1.1.1

please let me know

You can easily try it to see if it works: update to FW 1.1.2 and try to activate your phone with your O2 SIM. If it works, congratulations, if it doesn't, let us know. ;)

I really wouldnt do it just yet. i suspect we will still need the activation hack. (am O2 UK also)
