Firmware update issue from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 NEED HELP!!

Hi, thanks in advance. I have a problem with my unlocked->revirginized iphone which is still at 1.0.2 firmware.

I used the method http://iphone.unlock.no/ to reviginisize, and at the end of the processes i get with the ihpne locked again in the emergnecy call slider, waiting to activate wih AT&T.

I used the incoming application http://code.google.com/p/idemocracy/ to activate it and now i can acces the menus --->COOL

But maybe because i´m nerd or maybe i have a problem with my itunes version, every time i try to update the iphone, iTunes always tries to dodge my efforts. The last time it said me that my version 1.0.2 was the "lastest".

My question is what are the process and order to update to 1.1.1 now that is released the 1.1.2.

I can´t update the more i try itunes negs me.



PLEASE IF SOMEONE REPLYS IT MUST BE A NERD EXPLANATION, not because i´m but cuz i have tried a lot and nothing happens.

you are supposed to update after re-virginizing .. not after activating. after following that revirginizing guide.. you should have followed these steps: http://iphone.unlock.no/#Bypass-Activation-and-Jailbreak

Deactivate your phone and see if iTunes will give you the 1.1.1 update. From what i gather though, 1.1.2 is already released and you should not download that.

That didn´t worked because the jailbreakme from that tutorial is only compatible with 1.1.1 and in that moment i was deactivated and 1.0.2

How can i update to 1.1.1 even without itunes...i´m runing windows without MAC

Thanks for all, i finally updated the iphone, it was my itunes that was an older version, i updated to 7.5 an recognized a new update...misteriously detected 1.1.1 ahhh sweetheart:)

I got the jailbreakme with the 1.1.1 and went smooth.

Now i must to decide the unlocking method, it must work with any sim not only mine, so if anyone knows the right method...i´m all ears :D

Yes that was my point - you did the steps in the wrong order. After re-virginizing , you are supposed to update in iTunes, not doing the jailbreak until after 1.1.1 has been installed.

Anyways I used this same method on Thursday evening and I used AnySIM and it worked fine for me.

Yes i do it in wrong order cuz i was desesperated not advancing nowhere for atunaz caprice.

I going to use anySIM 1.1 to unlock it cell, and selling it on eBay:D, i hope it works with the sim of the buyer, not only mine...
