New iTunes 7.5 syncs fine with unlocked/modded/hacked iPhones but I wouldn't install it yet since there seem to be problems with INDependence and other tools.
CAUTION: the new 1.1.2 firmware is already available, DO NOT update your phone because it may very likely not be "hackable" yet, incl. activation.
Meaning: you may end up with a unactivated/locked phone, just WAIT and don't hurry into things which are beyond your control.

It´s safe, it detected my update for the iphone from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 and doesn´t complaint...atunaz´s my bitch :D
