Disclaimer: I am a noob/newb @ phone hacks so please bare with me!
I've been following pretty much all the unlocking methods for 1.0.2, and downgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 but I just need some clarification...
There is now a way to unlock a stock/brand new from the box iphone that has the firmware 1.1.1 correct? Either using the commercial iphonesimfree or I believe anysim?
Would it be possible for someone to post the link to downloading all the necessary apps (for windows) and the step by step instructions? I did some searching and could only find random instructions, not really a complete set...
Also, will unlocking the stock 1.1.1 version allow me to use/install 3rd party apps?
I'm planning on getting it within a week or two but do you guys think I should wait until the hacks are more stable? Or to see if Apple will continue trying to brick the phone?
Any sort of input or help is greatly appreciated!
