View Full Version : Do I have to re-activate Online EVERYTIME I change my SIM?

I have a 1.1.1 unlocked, jailbreaked and activated phone.
It was a 1.0.2 iUnlocked phone but I followed the Dev Team guide and got it up and working on 1.1.1.
I tried to swap the SIM in the iphone today and it told me that the SIM was new and needed to be connected to iTunes.
Does that mean I would have to go through the whole process of swapping the lockdownd files and activating online and then putting the lockdownd file back everytime I swap my SIM card?
Or is there another way to do it? I am on Windows in case that is relevent. Thanks.

I don't know if I would have to activate everytime but I do not have to now.
As someone very kindly sent me an updated 1.1.1 lockdownd patched file and now I can switch SIM cards without any issues.
So thanks!

I had a look at the iNdependence package and I couldn't see the lockdownd file. It looks like this is not the case.

Of course the file is not inside. The file is copyrighted by Apple, thus not distributable by inDependence. BUT, independence will patch the lockdownd for you.

So do you mean those who used iNdependence to activate and jailbreak their iPhone has already been patched the lockdownd?? :)
