Did u unlock/jailbreak the phone? Cause if you havent then u can still get a replacement.

If its jailbroken, what stuff did you put? Also if you unlocked, what method did you use?

I always run the battery down on mine before a full charge and I only ever put it in the dock when I need to transfer stuff because I dont like the USB to charge it.

hi! If you can figure out a way to figure out how to take out the battery, do so. then put it back then try to turn it on again. Are you sure it did not get wet or anything? any unlock would not have messed up your iPhone's battery that is most likely a hardware issue.. now if u can restore u can get a warrany. if You know someone who owns an iPhone try to borrow that person's battery and try it in your own phone. gooduck!

i have the same problem...

the battery was totaly finished,
i recharged it, but than it does not start again.

the last days it was not possible to get it fully charges, so i think realy some hardware damage...

fuck, anybody a idea where to get a new battery?

thank you
Wolf.

Try one of the followings:

1. Hold down the home button and then plug in the USB cable (with your computer turned on and iTunes running.)

2. Plug the USB cable into the iPhone and hold down both the power button and the home button. After exactly 10 seconds, release the power button while still holding down the home button for another 15 seconds.

Good luck!
